PAV is the largest mixed-use private bulk terminal in the state of New York. Located on the Upper Hudson River approximately 150 miles from NYC, the PAV facility consists of 27 acres of mostly paved property with indoor storage.
Along with this substantial upland acreage, PAV offers 1400 linear feet of maximum draft (31 feet) at MLW Hudson River access. Services include the stevedoring of vessels and barges along with easy access to major cities by truck and rail.
The PAV staff of experienced professionals is seasoned in the handling of multiple types of products, ranging from aggregates, salt, cement substitutes, and scrap steel to new steel products. The terminal facility operates on a 24/7 basis during vessel discharging or loading and can handle outbound or inbound shipments via truck or rail in the same manner if requested. Through MTLM, our upland parent company, PAV has three large barge mounted and transportable stevedoring cranes available at both the PAV Terminal, in New York Harbor, or beyond.
PAV is also served by the Canadian Pacific Railroad (www.cpr.ca), where our intermodal terminal links you with customers throughout the Midwest and Canada.
