	Port Albany Ventures (PAV) was created in March 2005 when two established and highly respected New York Harbor companies — Donjon Marine Co. Inc. (Donjon.com) and Metal Management NE, Inc. (MTLM.com) — partnered in a joint venture to purchase Empire Harbor Marine and Port Terminals Limited. With Donjon managing the water assets (tugs, barges, dredging, and marine projects) and MTLM handling the upland stevedoring assets (vessel discharging/ loading, trucking, and rail requirements), PAV reflects the best of each partner’s considerable strengths.
